Welcome to Ms. Yu's English Class

My motto is, 'You never know what you can do until you try.' Reflecting on my journey, I’ve realized that the challenges and struggles I’ve overcome have taught me invaluable lessons about myself and life. There were so many things I once believed I couldn’t do, but I eventually accomplished them because I persevered. I would have never discovered my capabilities if I hadn’t tried.

 

In the same way, I strive to inspire my students to embrace a positive, growth mindset—what some call grit—to succeed in any task they take on. I want them to understand that failure only becomes permanent if they give up
