Magnet Tours are an important step in selecting a Magnet Program for your child. It is encouraged that you and your child participate in the virtual tour! Our Virtual Tours will take place on Zoom from 4-5 PM every Tuesday in October. Each virtual tour begins with an informative presentation about the engaging programs offered at Nobel STEAM Magnet Center. 8th Grade Parents: Please see the attached flyer regarding Parent meetings for students that reside in the Zone of Choice attendance areas for High School. The North Valley Zone of Choice includes Sylmar High School, San Fernando High School, and Caesar Chavez High School. The Northwest Zone of Choice includes VAAS (Valley Academy of Arts and Sciences) and Northridge Academy. The application window is October 1, 2021 through November 12, 2021. ELAC (English Learners Advisory Committee) Orientation and Elections are coming soon. The Orientation will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, 9/17, and the Election will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, 9/24. If you are interested and would like more information, please contact Ms. Oak by email or call the main office.

5-week progress report card will be distributed to students on Monday 9/20/21 during advisory class.

We need to vote on five parent representatives and two alternates for the 2021/22 Nobel Charter Council. The Charter Council shall be empowered to operate as the principal school site decision-making body in regard to school-wide policies, programs, and procedures. The Charter Council’s major roles and responsibilities will include approving the educational and operational policies that fall under the purview of the charter, professional development, approving annual budgets and overseeing fiscal management of the categorical block grant.

Voting will begin on Friday, September 10th and end on Monday, September 13th.

On MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 13 & TUESDAY, 14, 2021, White’s Studios will be on campus taking yearbook pictures. Students should dress nicely as this is the picture that will appear in the yearbook and that will be available for purchase from White’s Studios. This is a Prepay Picture Plan. Order pictures online on or before picture day by going to the studio website at www.whites-studios.com/k-11photos. Online orders only, no cash or checks will be accepted on picture day. Please join us for our Virtual Back to School Night this Wednesday, September 1st. The Principal's Welcome Zoom Webinar will begin at 5:45 pm and virtual classroom visits will begin at 6:00 pm. Your child will receive Zoom links for their classes from each teacher that will be accessed through Schoology. Parents, please review accessing the links with your child before Wednesday evening.
