We are excited to invite you to assist scientists,
naturalists, environmentalists, and volunteers in
finding and recording LA's biodiversity. We will hear
from field experts from the Natural History Museum,
LA Sanitation & Environment (LASAN), City of LA Dept
of Recreation and Parks (LA Parks) and LA Public
Library (LAPL). This event combines natural sciences
with civic engagement, and you will learn how you can
help the scientific community while exploring LA's
beautiful outdoors. There will be interactive activities
for families to engage together, along with make-and-takes
and/or handouts, and other giveaways.
Refreshments will be provided.
